Charles Davis works in the area of innovation policy and management, and his current research focuses on media audiences, product innovation and experience goods, and Toronto’s cultural economy. He holds the E.S. Rogers Sr. Research Chair in Media Management and Entrepreneurship and is a professor in the RTA School of Media (Faculty of Communication & Design) at Ryerson University and is cross-appointed to the Entrepreneurship and Strategy Department (Ted Rogers School of Management). Since 2011 he is serving as Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Communication & Design. He is the author or co-author of more than 100 scientific publications and reports, and has received numerous research grants from scholarly granting agencies, governments, international agencies, and private firms. He earned his PhD from the Université de Montréal.
