Jamie Oresar is the General Education Curriculum Coordinator and a Professor of Sociology and Equity Studies in the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Niagara College. Teaching courses centred on equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility over the past 13 years, Jamie is deeply committed to social justice, rooting her approaches to teaching and learning in anti-oppressive, intersectional, and decolonial lenses. With over 20 years of teaching and working across the globe, she has been able to teach and learn alongside students and educators across 4 continents, in Canada, Australia, China, Mexico, Jamaica, and Kenya.
