Jean-Ray Arseneau is the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations at the University of Ottawa. He joined the University over 20 years ago, first as a student and then as a staff member slowly making his way through the organization to where he is today. His portfolio includes the uOttawa network, data centre, compute and storage, collaborative tools, end-user support and finally the security operations centre. He is passionate about consolidating technologies, reducing technical debt, cyber security, and improving the way technology supports the business.
